DAY 01: ARRIVAL

Arrive Athens international airport, transfer to hotel, and rest of the day free at your own leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02: CITY SIGHTSEEING ATHENS, PIRAEUS & BEACH RIVIERA HOP-ON HOP-OFF BUS TOUR

Explore the UNESCO-listed archeological site of Delphi with an expert guide and learn how the city was considered the ‘Center of the World’ in ancient Greece. Stand in awe before the dramatically situated Temple of Apollo, then discover long-lost wonders at the Delphi Archeological Museum, including the Charioteer of Delphi and the Sphinx of Naxos. After lunch in Delphi (optional upgrade or at own expense), visit the handicrafts towns of Arachova and Levadia on the way back to Athens.

DAY 05: HYDRA, POROS AND EGINA DAY CRUISE FROM ATHENS

DAY 06: SANTORINI CALDERA CRUISE INCLUDING FULL GREEK MEAL AND DRINKS

Select a daytime or sunset cruise, and sail around the island and caldera (flooded volcanic crater) on a deluxe catamaran. Stop to bathe in the Nea Kameni springs; swim, snorkel or unwind at beaches; and enjoy unlimited Santorini wine and Greek beer, plus a Greek meal prepared on board. On the evening cruise, be treated to awe-inspiring sunset views. A cruise is essential when you visit Santorini, and with numbers limited to 18, this offers a small-group experience. Select a morning or sunset cruise when you book. Then, on the day, depart your Santorini hotel by air-conditioned minivan and travel to the jetty for your catamaran cruise. Meet your professional skipper and crew, and find a comfortable spot on the deluxe modern catamaran. Then, sit back and admire Santorini’s caldera and sugar-cube clifftop houses as your vessel pulls away from dock. Relax and enjoy the sea breezes, and take snaps of the views as your catamaran cuts through the waves of the Aegean Sea. Back aboard, cruise along the coast to Santorini’s southern beaches. Head for the White Beach, and, if you wish, leave the boat to swim in the crystal waters. If you fancy checking out the undersea life, use the supplied snorkeling equipment and set off in search of colorful fish and other underwater sights. Afterward, return to deck for a delicious lunch or dinner, depending on the cruise time you’ve chosen. Dig into an enticing selection of pork and grilled chicken, Greek salad, pasta salad, fresh bread and fruit. Then start out on your return journey. If you’ve chosen the sunset cruise, soak up the sight of one of Santorini’s magical sunsets.
