Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Home Country - Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to a private local house for breakfast. Explore Tashkent, including the old part of the city with architectural wonders like "Khazret-Imam" complex, "Barakkhan Medressa," "Tellya Sheikh Medressa," "Juma Mosque," and more. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the "Monument of Courage," commemorating the Tashkent earthquake of 1966, and "Abdulkasim Medressa," now a center for traditional arts. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana (300 km)
Drive to Fergana Valley (320 km) via the picturesque mountain pass Kamchik. Visit the city of Kokand, exploring attractions like Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, and Norbut-biy Madrasah. Continue to Fergana city (80 km) and visit Akhmad Al-Fergani Park. Check in to the hotel and overnight. 

Day 3: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Tashkent (300 km)
Drive from Fergana to Margilan, visiting Said Akhmad-Khoja Madrasah. Explore the Yodgorlik Silk factory and pottery workshop in Rishtan. Drive back to Tashkent (240 km), transfer to the hotel, and have dinner.

Day 4: Tashkent – Nukus – Muynak – Nukus (400 km)
Take a morning flight to Nukus. Visit the Mizdakhan archaeological complex and explore Muynak, known for the "Cemetery of ships." Visit the Local History Museum with exhibits of the Aral Sea history. Return to Nukus for overnight.

Day 5: Nukus – Khiva (230 km)
Visit the Savitsky Karakalpakstan Art Museum and depart for Khiva (200 km). En route, explore ancient Khorezmian clay fortresses Tuprak-kala and Ayaz-kala. Have lunch in a yurt and arrive in Khiva for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Khiva
Spend a day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site Itchan-Kala Fortress, with visits to Allakulikhan Madrassah, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, IslomKhoja Minaret, Juma Mosque, Toshhovli, and more. Overnight at the group hotel in Khiva.

Day 7: Khiva – Bukhara (480 km, 7-8 h.) through the Kyzyl-Kum Desert
Depart for Bukhara (480 km) in the morning, passing through the Kyzyl-Kum Desert. Enjoy views of the Amu Darya River and the desert. Arrive in Bukhara late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel, and overnight.

(N.B.: We advise preparing lunch-boxes for this trip. Some parts of the road are presently being renovated.)

Day 8: Bukhara
After breakfast, begin the city tour of Bukhara, exploring the Kalon ensemble, Madrassah Miri-Arab, Madrassah Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, Tim of Abdoullakhan, Lyabi Hauz complex, caravanserai Sarrafon, Kukeldash Madrassah, photo gallery of Shavkat Baltaev, Chor-Minor Madrassah, and trade domes of the ancient Bukhara bazaar. Overnight at the group hotel in Bukhara.

Day 9: Bukhara
Start the second day with a visit to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir. Continue to Bakhouddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Bukhara – Nurata – Aidar Yurt Camp
Depart Bukhara in the morning and drive to the yurt camp in KyzylKum desert (230 km, 4 h.*). Visit Gijduvan pottery masters workshop and Nurata town to see a local mosque with a holy spring. Continue driving to the yurt camp, stopping at Nurata pass to see petroglyphs. Arrive at Aidar Yurt Camp, accommodation in yurt, camel riding, and dinner near the campfire with Kazakh akin singing folk songs. Overnight in the yurt.

Day 11: Yurt Camp – Aydarkul Lake – Sentab (Village in Nurata Mountains)
Enjoy breakfast at the saloon-tent, then transfer to Aydarkul Lake. Have lunch in a tent by the lakeside and enjoy swimming in the unique Aydarkul Lake. Transfer to Sentab and stay in the home of local people. Dinner at the guesthouse and overnight.

Day 12: Sentab - Asraf Village (In Nurata Mountains) - Hiking 3H
After breakfast, transfer to Asraf village. Experience life as it was centuries ago, with women cooking on open fires, weaving, spinning yarn, and men farming and shepherding. Dinner at the guesthouse and overnight.

Day 13: Asraf Village - Samarkand (210 km)
Breakfast at the guesthouse and transfer to Samarkand via Djizzak. Upon arrival in Samarkand, check in to the hotel.

Day 14: Samarkand
Explore Samarkand, visiting Registan square, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanum mosque, Shokhi-Zinda architectural ensemble, Ulugbek observatory, and more. Overnight at the group hotel in Samarkand.

Day 15: Samarkand
Continue sightseeing, visiting Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Drive to Konigil village to explore traditional Samarkand paper making. Enjoy free time in the afternoon.

Day 16: Samarkand – Shakhrisabz – Boysun
Drive to Shakhrisabz (80 km, 1 h.) for a short city tour. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir, remains of Ak-Saray Palace, and Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble. Continue driving to Boysun, a village at the foot of the Ghissar mountains. Arrive, check in at the guesthouse, and have dinner. Overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 17: Boysun
Spend the day exploring Boysun, situated in Surkhandarya region, one of the most ancient cultural centers of Uzbekistan. Delve into the folklore of Boysun.

Day 18: Boysun - Termez
Drive to Termez and start sightseeing in the ancient Buddhist center. Explore Zurmala Tower, Mausoleum of AlHakim at-Termezi, Fayaz-Tepe Buddhist archaeological site, and Kampyr-Tepe Greco-Bactrian Kingdom fortress. Return to Termez for a city tour, visiting Kyrk-Kyz Fortress, Kokildor-Ota Khanaka, Sultan Saodat Ensemble, and the Archaeology Museum. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a flight to Tashkent.

Day 19: Termez
Sightseeing in Termez, visiting Kyrk-Kyz Fortress, Kokildor-Ota Khanaka, Sultan Saodat Ensemble, and the Archaeology Museum. In the evening, transfer to the airport for a flight to Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 20: Termez - Tashkent
Morning flight to Tashkent. Sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, exploring Chorsu Bazaar, taking a ride on Tashkent Metro, and visiting city center attractions like Amir Timur Square, Independence Square, and the Applied Arts Museum. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 21: Tashkent – Departure
Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
